فَأَمَّا
عَادٞ
فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ
فِي
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
بِغَيۡرِ
ٱلۡحَقِّ
وَقَالُواْ
مَنۡ
أَشَدُّ
مِنَّا
قُوَّةًۖ
أَوَلَمۡ
يَرَوۡاْ
أَنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
ٱلَّذِي
خَلَقَهُمۡ
هُوَ
أَشَدُّ
مِنۡهُمۡ
قُوَّةٗۖ
وَكَانُواْ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
يَجۡحَدُونَ
١٥
اما [قوم] عاد به ناحق در زمین تکبر میورزیدند و میگفتند: «چه كسى نیرومندتر از ماست؟» آیا نمىدانستند الله [آن خالق یکتایی] كه آنان را آفریده، نیرومندتر از آنان است؟ ولى [با لجاجت] آیات ما را انكار مىكردند.
